Applying for an inheritance order where there is no will

By Bekerman & Co. · Law Office

When someone dies without leaving a will, an application can be made to Israel's Inheritance Registrar for an inheritance order. It identifies the heirs under the law and their shares of the estate. Draw a short family tree with names, relationships and identification details as accurately as possible.

If another relative has also died, record that person's date of death separately. Mark missing details for follow-up. Check the official service for documents required for the place of death and the family circumstances. Keep the filing receipt and watch for requests for further information.
