Making a will
A will allows a person to set out how their estate should be distributed after death, subject to the law. Drafting requires attention to their wishes, personal and family circumstances and the legal requirements governing the will’s validity and contents. Clear drafting and compliance with formalities can reduce disputes over interpretation and validity.
Objections and inheritance disputes
Disputes may concern a will’s validity, the circumstances in which it was made, its interpretation or an heir’s rights. Assessing a dispute requires a review of the documents, the circumstances, the evidence and the relevant legal grounds.
